Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche will bestow the Chime Pakme Nyingtik empowerment at Pema Osel, followed by 2 days of group practice. If one wishes to receive the empowerment, one has to attend both days, August 22- 23. There are no exceptions to this requirement.
The practice days on August 24-25 are optional. To attend the practice days you must have received the empowerment. See below for eligibility information. The empowerment and practice are open to the public.
The Chime Pakme Nyingtik is a long life practice featuring a mandala of White Tara, discovered by Jamyang Khyentsé Wangpo in 1855. It was the main heart practice of Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche. More information on the Chime Pakme Nyingtik practice is available on the Rigpa Wiki.
Please arrive on Thursday August 22, at 2:00 for check-in. We will maintain functional silence while we check- in and wait to enter into the shrine room at 3pm. The schedule for Friday will be announced on Thursday. Plan on being here for the whole day on Friday.
On August 24-25, Rinpoche will lead two full days of group practice of the Chime Pakme Nyingtik practice. The schedule will be posted on the website as soon as we know. For more details and updates click here.
